Smartphone brand Nubia has announced two flagship-grade phones with AI-powered features, targeted at users who seek to “fully express their individuality and self-expression”, as said in its official press statement.
The phones are the Nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Version and the Nubia Z60S Pro. Let’s see what they offer.

The Nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Version uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which backs Nubia’s claims about its AI processing capabilities and flagship-tier performance. Other jaw-dropping specs include a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging, and a 6.8-inch AMOLED (2,480 x 1,116 pixels resolution) with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. All this is on top of its IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Its 12MP front camera is a 6th-generation under-display camera (UDC), with further enhancements thanks to its Front Camera Enhancement Algorithm 6.0 that helps deliver on clear under-display selfies taken.
On the rear is a triple camera array (50MP main at 35mm, 50MP ultra-wide at 18mm, and 64MP telephoto at 85mm), but what ties them all together is a series of AI-enabled algorithms (NeoVision AI Photography System 2.0) and optical image stabilisation for all three lenses.
The telephoto camera supports AI Telephoto features like AI Telephoto Moon for celestial photography.

Nubia Z60S Pro packs an older but still powerful flagship chip, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It mainly focuses on system performance and imaging prowess, through a mix of hardware and AI perks.
It also has a triple rear camera combo (50MP main at 35mm, 50MP ultra-wide at 13mm, and 8MP at 80mm). To preview your photos, the phone offers an expansive 6.8-inch AMOLED display (2,800 x 1,x260 pixels resolution) with 120Hz refresh rate and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut.
AI Imaging functions include AI Magic Eraser, AI Sky, and AI Blur, allowing users to edit their shots further after taking them. It also supports a 65:24 cinema format for a different look and feel, and its Galaxy Night Scene Mode has been trained on 12 starry sky algorithms to make your astral shots look more impressive.
Topping it all off are LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,100mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging. While Nubia didn’t state if it has IP-rated water and dust protection, the Z60S Pro still comes with Longxi Durable Glass, which Nubia said is 100% more resistant against drops and scratches than the phone’s predecessor.
