While the Nothing Phone (2) is tipped to launch next month, the company has confirmed its software update commitment in a tweet.
Similar to the Nothing Phone (1), the company says it will continue to offer three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates.
While this pales in comparison with Apple's solid track record in software updates for the iPhone, Nothing's policy is actually not too bad compared to its Android peers. Samsung announced earlier this year that select Galaxy devices will get four years of Android OS updates.
The Nothing Phone (2) is confirmed to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Other rumoured specs include a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage options, and a 5,000mAh battery.
