Not just an activity tracker, the Zoom HRV is a full-fledged Body Computer
LifeTrak USA calls their new Zoom HRV the most “comprehensive heart rate training wearable device ever created” due to the fact that it measures not just your heart rate, but also the variability of your heart rate as you go through various activities through the day.
According to their website, a greater Heart Rate Variability (or the length of the duration between heart beats) indicates that you more rested and recovered physically. Conversely, a heart beating with “little time variability like a metronome indicates poor recovery and the presence of fatigue.”
The Zoom HRV is water resistant to 50 meters and can provide streaming feedback for up to five days on a single charge. Its small size means you can strap it to your ankle, wrist, upper arm or lower arm and it can be paired with the Apple Health, Google Fit, or their own Zoom HRV app to easily log your fitness data.
As you can see from the video above, the list of health measures the Zoom HRV tracks is pretty extensive; even measuring your exposure to Blue Light and how well you sleep. Certainly seems like a helpful tool for anyone with fitness resolutions for the new year!
The LifeTrak ZOOM HRV is available now for S$219 at all leading consumer electronics stores. In addition, Axtro Sports is offering an additional $20 discount for the first 10 customers using promo code: ZOOM17, so hurry over now!
