The rounded surface all over the phone evens down to the edges of the glass and gives the phone an organic feel, like a smooth pebble. Together with a matt finish, the gadget comes in quirky orange and yellow, and sophisticated black and white, and has layered polycarbonate on the interchangeable shell covers to give the surface a translucent quality.

Visuals are stunning on the super-sensitive display, and with Sunlight Readability, the Nokia Lumia 625 performs even under direct sunlight. Select from over 165,000 apps available on the Windows Store, including WhatsApp, LINE, YouTube, Skype and Hipstamatic Oggl, the last of which allows direct uploads to social networks like Instagram. Nokia Music offers uninterrupted, ad-free music streaming guaranteed to satisfy music buffs, while HERE Maps and Drive offers effortless navigation wherever you go.

Equipped with the Nokia Smart Camera app and a sharp 5-megapixel camera, the smartphone lets you transform pictures into living memories with photography apps like Cinemagraph. These features, along with a snappy processor, a large 2,000mAh battery, 7GB of free cloud storage on SkyDrive, and SD memory card support of up to 64GB, are also included.

Powering on Windows Phone 8, the mobile phone provides leading personalization with customizable Live Tiles that update directly on the home screen. Also, Microsoft Office comes with the device out-of-the-box.

The Nokia Lumia 625 retails at all telcos with data plans, or at Nokia Stores and Nokia Solutions Partners for S$399. The device will debut at Comex this Thursday, 5 September, with exclusive operator promotions.
