Nintendo just expanded its Switch family with a new member, the Nintendo Switch (OLED model).

The Switch (OLED model) comes with a 7.0-inch OLED display, which is bigger than the 6.2-inch LCD display on the original model. There is a wide adjustable stand for tabletop mode, and a new deck with a wired LAN port.

In addition, the Switch (OLED model) comes with double the storage capacity at 64GB. While battery life remains the same at up to 9 hours, the Switch (OLED model) weighs slightly heavier at 320g.

The Switch (OLED model) is compatible with the full library of Nintendo Switch games and all previously released Joy-Cons. A carrying case and screen protector set for the new Switch model will also be available.

Nintendo says the Switch (OLED model) will launch on 8 Oct at US$349.99. It will be available in black and white.
