Nintendo may make an announcement on its new OLED Switch next month, but the device could hit retail shelves in September or October.
Bloomberg claims that Nintendo may announce the system before the E3 trade show in June. In addition, manufacturing of the console is said to start as early as July. Despite the global chip shortage, Nintendo's suppliers are reportedly "confident" to fulfill the orders.
The publication reported in March that Samsung is the supplier of the "7-inch, 720p-resolution OLED panels". The new Nintendo Switch is rumoured to be powered by an enhanced NVIDIA graphics chip and support Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology.
