New Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 comes with 4K display and 94% Adobe RGB color accuracy

Wacom has just announced the local availability and prices of their newest Cintiq Pro line of creative tablets. These professional tablets connect to a Mac or PC and mirror its screen, letting you go ‘hands-on’ with your work.

The new Cintiq Pro tablets come in 13.3” and 15.6” sizes. The Cintiq Pro 13 comes with a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080px) resolution IPS screen with 87% Adobe RGB color accuracy, while the Cintiq Pro 16 ships with a 4K (3,840 x 2,160px) resolution screen with 94% Adobe RGB color accuracy.

Both Cintiq Pro models come with edge-to-edge etched glass workspaces, and offer the ExpressKey Remote as an optional accessory. Integrated pop-out legs let you prop up the Cintiq Pros, and an optional three-position desk stand called the ErgoStand is also available.

The Cintiq Pros ship with Wacom’s new Pro Pen 2, which delivers four times greater accuracy and pressure sensitivity than the previous Pro Pen. A new optical bonding process is supposed to greatly reduce parallax, making it feel more like you’re drawing on paper rather than on a glass screen.

The Wacom Cintiq Pro 13 retails at S$1,499, and the Cintiq Pro 16 at S$2,199. Both are available now.
