ViewSonic has launched two new projectors, the LS500WHE and LS550WHE, that target both the enterprise and education markets.

Featuring 3rd generation LED technology with a 30,000-hour lifespan, the new lamp-free projectors offer high brightness and energy-efficient design that promises less power consumption, a longer lifespan, and improved sustainability.

Both projectors are lamp-free, freeing users from frequent lamp replacement, and have a brightness of 3,000 ANSI Lumens. In fact, ViewSonic says that their 3rd Gen LED technology reduces nearly 50% of the usual power consumption when compared to traditional lamp-based projectors.

They also have instant power on/off so there is no cooling period needed and there is no waiting time to use them. 360-degree tilt angle projection also allows them to be ceiling or floor mounted.

In terms of audio, as these aren’t entertainment projectors, we don’t really expect too much from their 2W speakers. But the is support for audio out so that connection to better speakers is possible.

The LS550WHE even has a 0.49 short throw ratio for use in small rooms, making it capable of projecting a screen size of 100-inches from just 1.06 meters away. There is also Horizontal and Vertical Keystone correction along with four corner adjustment to eliminate crooked or distorted images, for a perfect picture every time.

The LS550WHE features short-throw technology.

The ViewSonic LS500WHE and LS550WHE are available now at S$1,199 and S$1,450 respectively from ViewSonic’s official store on Lazada.
