Republic of Gamers (ROG) has pulled the curtains back on their latest gaming laptop – the 2023 ROG Flow X13 (GV302). A new 13-inch screen that ROG calls “Nebula Display” takes the centre stage, alongside a sleek, reengineered chassis and hardware upgrades.
The Nebular Display is a QHD 165Hz panel that comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio, that promises to offer gamers an even more vibrant colors and sharper resolution than its predecessor.
Despite its unassuming size, the ROG Flow X13 is quite the capable gaming machine too, thanks to the AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU. Interestingly, this 2023 model shaves off 10mm in size from its predecessor's size, yet it somehow manages to pack in more advanced hardware, maintains a 15-inch keyboard, and even expands the touchpad by a whopping 56 per cent.
Gaming on the move gets a boost too, with the laptop's beefed-up battery capacity of 75Wh. And if you're ever caught short, you can juice up quickly with the USB-C adapter, which supports a lightning-fast 130W charging rate.
The 2023 ROG Flow X13's outer shell also gets a stylish makeover with a unique wave pattern on the aluminum lid, inspired by the gravity wave concept of the Flow series. This isn't just about aesthetics – ROG says the pattern also provides a better grip for those on-the-move gaming sessions. The screen glass too has been enhanced with a protective Corning Gorilla Glass DXC coating (not to be confused with the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the ROG Ally’s), offering 40 per cent more resistance to scratches and reducing annoying screen glare.
The ROG Flow X13 (GV302) is now available for $3,098 at the ROG Experience Store Bugis, ASUS Online Store and all authorised retailers.
