The new Powerbeats come with better battery life at a lower price tag

The new Powerbeats.

Apple just announced the latest member of the Powerbeats family, the Powerbeats which will be replacing the Powerbeats3.

The Powerbeats use the same H1 chip as the second-gen AirPods, AirPods Pro and Powerbeats Pro and boast a battery life of up to 15 hours. In comparison, the Powerbeats 3 has a battery life of up to 12 hours.Fast Fuel allows you to charge the Powerbeats for 5 minutes to get up to 1.5 hours of playback.

It has enhanced call performance thanks to the dual beam-forming microphones that target the user's voice and filter out external noise. The Powerbeats have a streamlined, round cable engineered to minimise friction, and secure-fit earhooks for extra stability.

Available in white, black and red from 18 March, the Powerbeats are priced at US$149.95 (US$50 lower than the launch price of the Powerbeats3).
