Signify has announced a new range of Philips Hue smart lighting solutions to take your gaming experience to the next level. The new lightstrips promise a customisable, immersive lighting experience, with strips for both your monitor and television.

First up is the Play Gradient Lightstrip for PC, which is compatible with monitors up to 34-inches. It attaches to the back of your screen with included mounts, and can be synced with the Hue Sync desktop app to reflect the colours on your display.

Multiple colours of light flow naturally into one another to create a seamless gradient, while it flashes, dims, or brightens according to the on-screen action.

A 45-degree sleeve design allows for a halo effect when the monitor is placed close to a wall. It is available in three different sizes, including a 24/27-inch lightstrip, a 32/34-inch lightstrip, and a longer strip designed for triple monitor setups.

However, it will require a Hue Bridge, sold separately, to work.

If you're looking for something for your TV, there's the Philips Hue Gradient Lightstrip 80-inch. It supports wireless dimming technology and can also be customised using the Hue app on your smartphone.

Alternatively, it can be controlled with voice commands after pairing with smart home assistants like Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Assistant.

Finally, there's the Tap Dial Switch, which gives immediate, smart control of your lights throughout your home. The switch works wirelessly and can be installed anywhere without any rewiring. This means it can be mounted on any wall, placed on a magnetic surface, or even used as a remote.

The dial allows you to slowly dim or brighten your lights in small increments, or turn it up quickly. Each button gives control of up to three rooms or a zone. You can also personalise the switch by choosing a separate room or zone for each button in the Hue app.

All products are now available on Lazada and Amazon.
