The new JBL Link series has a speaker for every room

What’s better than a new set of multi-room speakers? Multi-room speakers with smart connectivity. JBL’s new Link series is a set of four wireless speakers: the Link 10, Link 20, Link 300 and Link 500. All four are hands-free voice operated speakers with Google Assistant built-in, so you can stream music, get information and even control smart devices around the home simply by starting with “Ok, Google”.

The speakers also have Chromecast built-in, so you can easily stream your favorite tunes to the speakers from a multitude of devices. JBL says the speakers will bring you an “elevated music experience, best in class sound quality and endless entertainment from the most popular music and entertainment apps”.

The smaller Link 10 (left two) and Link 20 (right two) speakers are IPX7 waterproof.

The smaller Link 10 and Link 20 speakers are priced at S$219 and S$289 respectively, and have rechargeable batteries built-in so they can go for five hours and ten hours respectively without being plugged into an outlet. They’re also rated IPX7 waterproof, so are suitable for use both inside and out.

Meanwhile, the larger Link 300 and Link 500 of course deliver much more power. The Link 300 has two 25W drivers, while the Link 500 has four 15W drivers compared to the Link 10 which has two 8W drivers and the Link 20 which has two 10W drivers. All four speakers will deliver HD audio streaming at 24bit/96kHz quality.

The Link 10 and Link 20 retail for S$219 and S$289, while the Link 300 and Link 500 retail for S$359 and S$579 respectively. The speakers are all available now at all major authorized JBL resellers.
