Apple is still planning to launch a new iPad mini later this year according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

Gurman claims that the upcoming iPad mini "should be a go" for release in fall and reiterates that its design will be similar to the iPad Air. He describes its new look as "the biggest redesign in the nine-year history" of the iPad mini.

Tipster Sonny Dickson shared purported dummy units of the iPad mini 6 in April, and said that new tablet looks "slightly thicker". Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expects the new iPad mini to be launched in the second half of the year due to supply constraints.

Aside from the new iPad mini, Gurman says Apple is still working on a larger-screened iMac to replace the 27-inch model. He expects the bigger iMac to be powered by an M1X processor or M2X processor. Rumours of a bigger iMac surfaced in April after a prominent Apple leaker tweeted that Apple will be upsizing the iMac.
