Connect the Forerunner 55 to a smartphone and even more can be done like keeping in contact with other runners so exercising isn’t so boring. New watch faces and apps can also be downloaded.

We know there are runners of all skill levels who prefer a simplified running watch. With that in mind, the Forerunner 55 presents informative and digestible data in a way that can help people reach their running goals, while also encouraging them to live a healthy lifestyle.

This isn’t the only specialised activity smartwatch from Garmin. For hikers, they have the Fenix which has functions like an altitude meter, and the Descent Mk2 which is a dive computer smartwatch.
