New Casio Edifice EQS-930 series goes solar to keep itself powered

The EQS-930BL-2AVUDF has a Blue ion-plated bezel. The EQS-930DC-1AVUDF has a grey ion-plated case and band. The EQS-930D-1AVUDF has a silver bezel. And the EQS-930DB-1AVUDF has a black ion-plted bezel.

The Casio Edifice EQS-930 is a solar-powered chronograph that is available in silver, black, grey, and blue.

Equipped with a carbon fibre dial, Casio Edifice applied a high visibility colour on the second hand following the feedback from racers. Water-resistant to 100m, the watch also features a stopwatch and date and battery level indicators.

Casio’s light-shielding and distributed solar technology make it possible to obtain sufficient power generation using only the light that passes through the three small inset dials. To check power levels in the watch, the EQS-930 has a battery indicator on the face. But, there is no real need to worry, a full battery charge provides approximately five months of normal operation.
