It has taken a while but Netgear's most advanced 5G mobile router – the Nighthawk M5 MR5200 – is finally here.

Decked in black and measuring just 105mm by 105mm, the Nighthawk M5 is powered by Qualcomm's SDX55 chipset and supports both 5G and Wi-Fi 6.

The Nighthawk M5 supports the sub-6GHz 5G network and Netgear claims the mobile router's Wi-Fi 6 network can accommodate up to 32 devices simultaneously.

Users can improve cellular connectivity by using attaching external antennas to the Nighthawk M5's two TS-9 connectors.

Wi-Fi speeds are up to 1,800Mbps – 600Mbps on the 2.4GHz network and 1,200Mbps on its 5GHz network.

The Nighthawk M5 also has an Gigabit Ethernet LAN port for devices with LAN ports to maximise the router's 5G speeds.

The Netgear Nighthawk M5 is priced at S$1,299 and you can find it on the Netgear online store or the Netgear Official Store on Shopee.
