NEC's new V series projectors are suitable for educators and businesses

If you’re looking for a full-featured and yet affordable projector for your office of classroom, know that NEC has just updated its V series DLP portable projectors. The five new models are once again designed to be compact and easy to use, and decked with specs such as up to 3,300 ANSI lumens brightness and 10,000:1 contrast ratio. Based on the latest DLP technology from Texas Instruments, the V series also delivers a filter-free maintenance by increasing lamp life up to 6,000 hours with the Eco functions.

Leading the charge this time are the V332X and V332W. The former is an XGA (1,024 x 768 pixels) model; the latter a WXGA model (1,280 x 800 pixels). There's also a 1080p model called the V302H. These updated V series projectors all sport a slew of connectivity options, including VGA input for connecting to computer, monitor output along with audio in/out jack, RCA inputs, and two HDMI outputs that support MHL function (with the exception of the V302W and V302X), so you can connect a variety of mobile devices to the projectors.

NEC is again touting ease of use with the new projectors. You get horizontal and vertical keystone correction function, a distortion correction function, a Quick Start function that enables the projector to start up in 10 seconds with source signal automatically detected, and a direct power off function. A NaViSet Administrator 2 multi-display management software is also bundled and you can use it for remote monitoring and controlling of the projectors.

The V series projectors are now available in the Singapore market, with the V332X and V332W going for S$739 and S$799 respectively.
