NEC Releases M Series of Portable Projectors

NEC launches its new M Series, which comprises of models M361X, M311X, M271X, M311W, and M271W. The brightness ratio has been increased by 100lm as compared to earlier models, while the contrast ratios have been upgraded from 2000:1 to 3000:1. With connectivity becoming a must for most office equipment, the new M Series also includes versatile software tools that allow for wireless data transmission from tablets and mobile phones employing Apple devices such as iPhones and iPads that use IOS and for Desktop PC/Notebook with Windows or Mac OS.

An Auto Eco Mode automatically adjusts brightness to suit the projected image, saving up to as much as 30% in power consumption. When no signal is being input, the projector will use as little as 25% of power, depending the background mode chosen. Also useful is the carbon meter, which makes it easy to know just how much emission you are cutting down whenever you go on Eco Mode.
