MyRepublic launches two 10Gbps Internet plans for homes and gamers
MyRepublic has unveiled its 10Gbps home broadband trial offerings, HyperSpeed 10Gbps and GAMER 10Gbps, for households looking for speedier in-home connectivity, to solve issues with simultaneous multi-device usage or gamers looking for lower latency gaming speeds.
The company said that these services are running over StarHub's 10G-XGS-PON network but will be managed by MyRepublic. This is due to StarHub’s acquisition of MyRepublic's fibre broadband business for residential and enterprise customers in Singapore.
The company says that HyperSpeed 10Gbps and GAMER 10Gbps will allow users to enjoy “faster upload and download speeds with minimal-lag streaming and gaming, across multiple devices all at once”.
Lawrence Chan, Managing Director, MyRepublic Singapore said:
While the digital world today is moving at a breath-taking speed, as a technology company at the forefront of agility and innovation, MyRepublic is committed to reshaping the broadband market in Singapore once again with the best value per dollar at the fastest speed plans to enable everyone to get the most out of their digital experience through seamless, and reliable connectivity.
MyRepublic joins Singtel and StarHub in offering 10Gbps plans to Singaporean households.
