Motorola’s foldable phone likely to debut by June
Motorola will be entering the foldable phone market by June.
Dan Dery, Motorola’s VP of Global Product, shared with Engadget that the company has “no intentions of coming later than everybody else in the market”. Dery added that the company started work on foldables “a long time ago” and there have been “a lot of iteration.”
Taking into account that the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X are hitting the market in April and mid-year respectively, we can expect Motorola to make an announcement in the same time period.
The Wall Street Journal reported in January that the Razr phone could return as a foldable phone with a price tag of $1,500.
