Motorola may unveil a new RAZR phone on 13 November

Motorola confirmed earlier this year that it was working on a foldable phone, and we've been dogged by rumours of a new RAZR-branded device ever since. Now, we could be seeing this device as soon as next month, according to CNET.

The company has supposedly sent out invitations to an event in Los Angeles on 13 November, and it's looking very likely that this could be the launch of the foldable RAZR phone. The RAZR phone is one of the most iconic phones ever made, and Motorola is teasing the "highly anticipated unveiling of a reinvented icon".

The invite is accompanied by a GIF stamped with the words "An original unlike any other", and it appears to show something that looks like the signature RAZR hinge being peeled away to reveal a new design. "You're going to flip," Motorola says, further proof that this is a more modern take on the iconic flip phone.

Previous rumours have put the price of the phone at around US$1,500, but the specs have been underwhelming to say the least, comprising a Snapdragon 710 processor with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. However, the phone may have a vertically-folding screen instead of what we've seen from the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X
