Updated at 11.12AM: Motorola has confirmed that the Moto X will be available at the PC Show 2014. Consumers can head over to M1's booth at the PC Show, M1 retail shops and on StarHub's website. At launch, there will be an exclusive accessory bundle consisting of a screen protector, USB reader with microSD card and USB OTG cables (while stocks last).

More than a month after its availability in neighboring Malaysia, consumers in Singapore are one step closer to buying the Motorola Moto X.

Customers can now pre-order the black or white Moto X (16GB) from online shopping site Omigo. The estimated delivery schedule is stated to be 5 to 7 business days from date of release (after June 5) or from the date of receipt of orders (whichever is later).

In case you don't know, PC Show 2014 is happening at the Singapore Expo this Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8. If Motorola plans to launch the Moto X in Singapore with a big bang, the PC Show 2014 seems like a good fit.

The Moto X was announced in the U.S last August and remained exclusive to the U.S telcos for quite some time. As a quick recap of its specs, the Moto X has a 4.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core 1.7GHz processor and Motorola X8 Mobile Computing System.

If you find the Moto X a little outdated, you can consider the following newer phone models with similar specs and price points: the S$398 LG F70, S$398 HTC Desire 610, the S$528 LG G2 Mini LTE and the Sony Xperia M2.
