Official-looking renders of 5G-capable Motorola Edge Plus leaked
Not long after Motorola made a comeback with a modern take of their iconic Motorola Razr flip phone with an Android operating system, the smartphone brand now returns with some leaked renders of a rumoured flagship model – the Motorola Edge Plus.
Over at Tom’s Guide are several official-looking renders, courtesy of famous smartphone tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks on Twitter). The leaked artwork tallied with previously unveiled information about the Motorola Edge Plus phones. The flagship model will feature a waterfall phone screen punctuated with a punch-hole front camera. At the same time, the rear will have three cameras lined up in a neat row.
Other rumoured specs include a 6.670-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate. With the waterfall display feature, it sounds very much similar to the display available on the Google Pixel 4 XL. Pundits and analysts are also expecting the Motorola Edge Plus to tout the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, which boasts top-tier processing performance while making 5G networks accessible to its users.
Should these leaked renders be accurate, the Motorola Edge Plus would undoubtedly put up a fight against the early-half of 2020 flagship models, such as the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, the Oppo Find X2 series, and the Huawei P40 series models.
