New information suggests that the Moto X is going to deliver one of the fastest 4G LTE speeds ever on a smartphone.

According to Taylor Wimberly (the founder of Android and Me), the Moto X will be equipped with dual LTE MIMO smart antennas for faster data speeds and better reception. Since MIMO is required for 4G LTE-Advanced, the Moto X is likely to support the new standard.

If you recall, the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A model is the world's first LTE-Advanced smartphone that supports data speeds up to 150Mbps. While the Moto X cannot compete with the flagship devices of other Android vendors, it should edge out the competition in terms of data speeds. Motorola will be unveiling the Moto X on 1 August.
