Google is rolling out some updates this week to add more Google Assistant features to compatible third-party smart devices, the company reveals in a new blog post.

For instance, Voice Match is coming to all smart speakers. This feature enables the device to recognise voices of different people (up to six) in the household so that each person can use voice commands to get personalised results.

The Google Home app is also getting a new setting that lets you adjust the responsiveness of the ‘Hey Google’ hotword for your smart speakers and smart displays. First announced in Apr, this feature will continue its rollout to more devices in the coming weeks. Likewise, the default music speaker option is expanding to all Google Assistant-enabled smart devices.
