Looking for a Wear OS smartwatch that isn’t from Fossil? Well, Misfit, which is actually owned by Fossil, has just launched the Vapor X, and it too is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor.

Sporting a 1.19-inch circular display, the Vapor X comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. Made from lightweight, matte-finished alloy, the 43g smartwatch + activity tracker boasts a heart rate sensor, standalone GPS, and a built-in music player. It’s swimproof too, but only “in shallow water.” And since it’s powered by Google’s Wear OS, it’ll work with Google Pay for NFC payments.

The Vapor X also comes with a 300mAh battery, which Misfit claims is able to last over 24 hours and two additional days in battery-saving mode. Also, a 50-minute charge is able to get it up to 80%.

Naturally, Misfit is offering the Vapor X in different colours. For the watch case, there are five colours to choose from — black, rose tone, stainless (silver), champagne, gunmetal — and each of them comes with a colour-matching Sport Strap+ strap. Misfit has also introduced new straps, including new leather straps and sport straps in other colours.

The Misfit Vapor X is now available in the U.S., and has a suggested retail price of US$279.99. But during this launch period, it’s going for US$199.99.

Local pricing isn’t available at the moment.
