Microsoft has announced that the Surface Go 2-in–1 device will be available for pre-order in Singapore starting August 2nd. The device will be available in stores August 28th.

The most affordable Surface device to date, the Surface Go has a starting price of S$618. This is the model with 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage. The other Surface Go config that will be available here has 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage, and that model has a sticker price of S$828. Both models are powered by Intel’s Pentium Gold 4415Y processor.

Surface Go will be available for pre-order on the Microsoft Store. To sweeten the deal, you can redeem S$50 worth of Grab vouchers with every purchase. The device is also available for pre-order at authorized retailers, including Acommerce, Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, Elush, Harvey Norman, and Newstead.

Commercial customers can pre-order the device through Authorized Device Resellers, including AsiaPac Distribution Pte Ltd, JK Technology Pte Ltd, and UIC Asian Computer Services Pte Ltd.

Several Surface Go-specific accessories are also available, including the Surface Go Type Cover and Surface Go Signature Type Cover, as well as the new Surface Mobile Mouse, priced at S$138, S$188, and S$54 respectively.

To recap, the 8.3mm-thin Surface Go tablet weighs just 522g. It has a 10-inch, 1,800 x 1,200-pixel PixelSense Display, which supports the Surface Pen (available separately) with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. In addition to the Surface Connect port that’s used for charging and docking, the Go has a headphone jack, a microSD card slot for storage expansion, and a USB-C 3.1 port that’s capable of carrying power, data, and video signals with just one cable.
