Microsoft’s Your Phone Companion app for Android has long helped Android users access photos, text messages and notifications that are on their phone through their PC.

But Your Phone has also always been more useful if you use a Samsung Galaxy device. For instance, with the Link to Windows integration that’s only found on selected Samsung phones, you can additionally drag and drop files from your phone to your PC wirelessly or do cross-device copy and paste.

With the arrival of the new Galaxy Note 20 series, the integration is deepening. Now, you can access and interact with your Android apps directly on your Windows 10 PC through the Your Phone app.

According to Microsoft, when you launch a mobile app, it’ll open in a separate windows on your desktop. You can even pin the Android apps to your Windows 10 taskbar or the Start menu for quicker access.

One thing to note is that for now you can only run one Android app on your PC. Microsoft says an update that allows running of multiple apps side by side will arrive later this year. Also, this feature is a Galaxy Note 20 exclusive at the moment.
