It’s no secret that Microsoft is going full-steam ahead in its cloud efforts, and now, the company is introducing a new offering called Microsoft 365, which is basically a combination of its Windows 10, Office 365, and Enterprise Mobility + Security products.

A business offering that targets companies of different sizes, Microsoft 365 is available in two forms: Microsoft 365 Business and Microsoft 365 Enterprise.

Broadly speaking, Microsoft 365 Business is designed for SMEs with up to 300 users and it combines Office 365 Business Premium with tailored security and management features from Windows 10 and Enterprise Mobility + Security. It also offers a centralized IT console to help simplify set up and management of employee devices and services. Office 365 Business Premium and Microsoft 365 Business are also gaining three tailored apps: Microsoft Connections, Microsoft Listings, and Microsoft Invoicing.

Microsoft 365 Business will be available in public preview on August 2. Public launch is slated for the fall of 2017, and it'll be priced at US$20 per user, per month.

On the other hand, Microsoft 365 Enterprise goes after large organizations and integrates Office 365 Enterprise, Windows 10 Enterprise and Enterprise Mobility + Security. It’s available in two plans: Microsoft 365 E3 and Microsoft 365 E5, both of which are available for purchase from August 1.
