Smart home devices are the next big thing, so apart from the latest Wi-Fi 6 and gaming routers, Netgear is also launching the Meural Canvas.

The Meural Canvas is a digital photo frame that has been designed specifically to mimic real-world photo frames.

This new second-generation Canvas has a 27-inch IPS display with Full-HD resolution has been given an anti-glare matte finish so that it deflects light without distorting hue.

The Canvas also has a built-in ambient light sensor that measures the room’s brightness and adjusts its display to match.

With the Meural Canvas, there's a palpable sense of texture and depth that you don't get from other digital photo frames.

Along with special software, the Canvas is able to render images in an extreme realistic way with perceivable depth and texture. Honestly, it’s something that you have to see for yourself to appreciate.

On top of all this, there’s also the Meural Art Library subscription (US$49.95 per year), which gives owners access to over 40,000 of the world’s most iconic pieces of art that they can display on their Canvas. This includes renowned pieces like Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and Van Gogh’s The Starry Night.

Of course, owners can also use the Meural app to upload their own photos to the Canvas. The app also enables owners to customize the Canvas to their hearts' content. For example, they could configure the Canvas to show certain photos at certain times and they can even create playlists of art to suit their moods.

The Canvas is available in two trims: Leonora and Winslow. Leonara comes with a poplar wood frame and is available in black and white, while Winslow comes with a walnut frame.

As for pricing, the Meural Canvas Leonora is priced at S$1,499 while the Meural Canvas Winslow is priced at S$1,699. Both will come with three-year long Meural Art Library subscription plans. They are available on Lazada.
