Apple's latest initiative "Meet with Apple Experts" is a global developer resource for labs, sessions, and workshops

Apple has launched a new initiative that aims to bolster its global developer community. Dubbed Meet with Apple Experts, this platform acts as a centralised hub for a wide range of activities, including workshops, labs, one-on-one consultations, and more. The goal? To offer developers extensive knowledge, support, and direct interaction with Apple's own experts. This, the tech giant believes, will help elevate apps and games to unprecedented levels of performance and functionality.

With its initial roll-out featuring more than 50 such engagements, Meet with Apple Experts is designed to be an ongoing programme. Unlike traditional training sessions, which may occur at infrequent intervals or in limited geographies, this new initiative promises both online and in-person activities. For developers around the globe, this could represent a real chance to have their burning questions answered by the very people who create the ecosystems their products exist in.

The scope of topics on offer is extensive, diving deep into the nuts and bolts of Apple's latest software and hardware releases. Developers can expect to explore avenues in iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, and the freshly minted visionOS. Beyond just technicalities, the programme also extends to cover real-world application and market optimisation strategies. This includes guidance on leveraging the App Store to the fullest – from customising product pages to making the most of in-app events and using features like App Analytics to boost customer acquisition.

What sets Meet with Apple Experts apart is the level of customisation it offers. The sessions, labs, workshops, and even challenges are tailored to meet developers where they're at in their journey. Whether you're a developer looking to understand new features, optimise existing apps, or gain insights into design principles, this initiative aims to offer something relevant.

If this all sounds familiar, it's because Apple has been conducting similar programmes under various names. Meet with Apple Experts essentially consolidates past successes like Ask Apple, Meet with App Store Experts, and Tech Talks into one comprehensive platform. So, it seems like Apple has taken the highlights from previous initiatives and combined them, offering the developer community a singular point of interaction, but this time, on a scale and scope we haven't seen before.

There’s just one catch: Meet with Apple Experts is only available to registered Apple developers, current members of the Apple Developer Programme, and Apple Developer Enterprise Programme. The platform can be accessed via the portal.
