MediaTek just announced its latest mobile processor with an integrated 5G chip, the Dimensity 820.

The 7nm chipset integrates a 5G NR (sub-6GHz) modem with MediaTek's 5G UltraSave technologies including 5G UltraSave Network Environment Detection and 5G UltraSave OTA Content Awareness for higher energy efficiency. It supports 2CC Carrier Aggregation which offers higher average speeds and seamless handover between two 5G connection areas. It also supports dual SIM, dual standby (DSDS) 5G technology.

The octa-core Dimensity 820 comes with four high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores at 2.6GHz and four ARM Cortex A-55 at 2.0GHz alongside a five-core ARM Mali G57 GPU.

Other specs include support for up to four concurrent cameras, up to 80MP super-size sensors, up to 32MP + 16MP @30 fps high resolution cameras for fast and accurate portrait photos, record multi-frame 4K HDR video, and support for 120Hz displays.
