The Mate 20 Pro can work as a wireless charging pad and use nano memory cards?
Huawei is expected to unveil its next flagship phone, the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro on 16 October. However, purported photos and specs of the Mate 20 Pro have surfaced thanks to WinFuture.de.
According to the leaks, the Mate 20 Pro is said to be able to double as a wireless charging pad to re-charge other devices. While we've heard of handsets doubling as power banks, this is the first time we've heard of a phone functioning as a wireless charging pad!
Another interesting claim is that the Mate 20 Pro will not have a microSD card slot; it will use "Nano Memory Cards", which is a new proprietary memory card format invented by Huawei in the shape of a nano-SIM card and have capacities up to 256GB.
As for the other specs, the Mate 20 Pro is likely to come with a 6.39-inch OLED display (3,120 x 1,440 pixels), a Leica-branded triple-camera system (40MP, 20MP and 8MP), an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR laser system for the front-facing 24MP camera for face unlocking, 6/8GB RAM, 128/256/512GB internal storage space, Kirin 980 processor, a 4,200mAh battery, IP68 water and dust resistance, and Android 9 Pie.
