Make any room your cinema with ViewSonic’s latest M1 short-throw projector

The award-winning ultra-portable M1 short-throw projector is one of the latest from ViewSonic, and it’s built to bring years of multimedia entertainment wherever you go. It weighs less than a kilogram at 800g and measures just 148 x 40.5 x 126 mm, while also having integrated Harman Kardon speakers for better sound.

An integrated smart stand rotates 360o, so you easily project your content on any surface with the M1 – be it a screen, wall or even the ceiling. It also comes with an integrated battery that’s good for six hours of wireless playback, so you can use it both indoors and out.

Less messy cables to deal with is always a good thing; and the M1 takes this further with 16GB of on-board memory so you can easily load movies and music for a trip without having to bring another external hard disk.

That’s not to say that the M1 lacks connectivity options though, as it comes with one USB Type C port, one USB 2.0 Type A port, a HDMI 1.4 port, the standard 3.5mm Audio Out jack, and a MicroSD card reader on the side.

In terms of display output, the M1 gives you a WVGA display with resolution of 854x480, with display sizes ranging from 24” to 100” with a distance of just 2.6m from the projection surface. It also has a great dynamic contrast ratio of 120,000:1, and a brightness of 250 ANSI Lumens. Keystone correction is available for ±40o vertically, and the projector is compatible with both Mac and PC resolutions from 640x480 to 1920x1080.

The ViewSonic M1 projector will be available by mid-April at all authorized retailers for S$599.
