Love Metal Gear Solid so much that you'd buy anything related to it?

Whether it's a Metal Gear Solid smartphone, tablet or Walkman, Sony's got you covered.

Metal Gear Solid V is going to be one of the greatest games of the year. The hype level for the game alone is astounding, especially considering the recent controversy regarding Konami and Hideo Kojima. Bad press or not, the game's expected to sell by the millions and fans all over the globe are feverishly anticipating what will probably be Kojima's last Metal Gear game.

Sony knows that and so they're releasing limited edition versions of some of their latest products to capitalize of the Metal Gear Solid frenzy. The company's releasing new limited edition Metal Gear Solid V versions of the Xperia J1 Compact, the Xperia Z4 Tablet, the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, the NW-ZX2 Walkman and the NW-A16 Walkman.

Of all the Metal Gear Solid Edition devices, only the Xperia J1 Compact and the NW-A16 Walkman have the Outer Heaven logo on the devices themselves. The others get Outer Heaven themed covers.

Purchasing the tablets nets you these special edition covers for free. They are also available to be purchased separately.

The NW-ZX2 gets a nifty leather case from the Outer Heaven go, while the NW-A16 gets it on the back of the machine itself.

Purchase of any of the limited edition machines nets you other Metal Gear Solid freebies too. While the exact freebies differ with each device, some of the freebies include a custom ringtone (based on Big Boss' iDroid), wallpapers and a selection of songs from the game's soundtrack.

Sadly, these limited edition machines will only be available in Japan and are unlikely to see overseas release.
