Logitech has launched the Tap IP, a network-based meeting room controller that is fully integrated with leading collaboration platforms and connected by a single Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable for clean, simple installation.

The new Tap IP is like the Logitech Tap that was launched in 2019. However, the Tap IP is cheaper and is easier to connect to the network over ethernet with its PoE or Wi-Fi as the Tap needed a Cat5e kit to be purchased separately. It can be mounted on a wall or table for use and easy sharing and comes in either graphite or white.

Combine the Tap IP with a Logitech conference cam and start meetings with just one touch on the 10.1-inch screen that is compatible with leading video conferencing solutions. Like other Logitech conferencing equipment, the Tap IP is built on open standards, enabling a broader set of integrations, for example with interactive whiteboards, room control functions, and more.

Tap IP will be compatible with Microsoft Teams, Rooms on Android, Zoom Rooms Appliances, PC-based Zoom Rooms, and RingCentral Rooms. Compatibility with additional partners will be available for both devices after launch.
