Logitech MK235 wireless keyboard and mouse combo - for office use, or for extreme Facebook commenting and liking of posts.

Accidents happen and protection should never be taken for granted. Logitech understands that, and that’s why they’ve come up with the Logitech MK235 – a durable wireless keyboard and mouse combo for users who are serious about using their peripherals for a long time to come.

The wireless Logitech MK235 set is durable in one than one way. It has a spill-resistant design that’s tested with 60ml liquid spillage, and a 36-month battery life in a simulated office setting (two million keystrokes a year). The mouse half has a 12-month battery life itself, and both devices are powered using traditional AAA batteries (two for the keyboard, one for the mouse). Finishing it off is an anti-fading treatment on the keycaps for long-lasting use.

As the MK235 wants to be the definitive office equipment, it’s also simple to use – getting it up and running is an easy plug-and-play process where you stick a fingernail-sized USB receiver into your chosen Windows, Mac, Linux, or Chrome OS desktop. The peripherals will communicate wirelessly, using Logitech’s non-unifying protocol (2.4GHz) with 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) between the devices and receiving desktop. According to Logitech, there’s no installation of any software required for the MK235. The wireless keyboard and mouse combo works up to 10 meters away, but that’s clearly dependent on your computing environment.

The set gets you a the keyboard and mouse, with a USB receiver unit. Both accessories are powered by AAA batteries.

It’s also a standard-sized keyboard, at 435.5 x 137.5 x 20.5 mm and 475g for the keyboard, and 97.7 x 61.5 x 35.2 mm and 70.5g for the mouse, so if you love having a familiar set of accessories with a bunch of added perks, the Logitech MK235 would be up your alley.

The best part about this setup is the S$39 price tag (Logitech's website pricing does not reflect the new pricing). It’s also already available starting from today, and you see more about it at the official Logitech website.
