Logitech launches new G433 and G233 gaming headsets

Logitech launches two new gaming headsets, with comfort and multi-platform support as their key features.

Logitech G433 7.1

First, it’s the Logitech G433 7.1 Gaming Headset. Its proprietary Pro-G drivers are supported be a USB sound card and DTS Headphone:X surround sound technology, and they are responsible for the virtual 7.1 surround sound you’ll get. The audio placement and positioning offers immersion to in-game effects while providing directional sound. Each of the seven audio channels has their own adjustable volume levels (done via Logitech Gaming Software).

The headset uses a hydrophobic, stain-resistant fabric that comes in three color options (Royal Blue, Fire Red, and Triple Black). The mesh ear pads are removable and can be washed by hand. Logitech also provides a second set of microfiber ear pads to cater for a different fit and feel.

The Logitech G433 also features a removable boom microphone with a physical noise protection filter that reduces popping sounds. It is compatible with Discord (being Discord Certified) and it also supports multiple platforms (PC,s consoles, and mobile devices).

It retails at S$159, starting from 30th June 2017, and it comes with a two-year limited hardware warranty.

Logitech G233 Prodigy

As the lightest headset that Logitech has designed to date, the G233 Prodigy weighs 259g. It uses breathable mesh ear pads that also hand-washable and removable.

Like the headset above, the Logitech G233 Prodigy uses proprietary Pro-G drivers with an optimized sound profile that is accurate to its source. According to Logitech, it offers a sound signature with “clear highs and mids”, with a “warm, deep bass”.

Like its brethren, it offers a removable microphone with the same pop filter, and it’s also Discord Certified. The G233 Prodigy supports PCs, consoles, and mobile devices.

It retails at S$119 in selected online stores  and campaigns, starting from 30th June 2017, and it comes with a two-year limited hardware warranty.
