Nowadays, with gaming and esports becoming increasingly prominent, gamers no longer look for accessories and equipment that are simply responsive or cutting-edge. Portability has become a big factor in the equation as well, and gaming mice are one of those things that fall squarely into this category.

Needless to say, it can be hard for manufacturers to differentiate themselves from the crowd unless their product checks all of those boxes, but then here's Logitech making it look easy with what is supposedly their lightest gaming mouse yet.

Weighing in at less than 63g, which is 25% lighter than the standard-issue PRO Wireless mouse (and about 10% the weight of your average basketball), the new Logitech G Pro X Superlight mouse is an impressive piece of work, even when you put aside its weight.

This five-button mouse essentially dons a "three-piece suit" when it comes to its main features. The package is primarily made up of its next-gen, pro-grade LIGHTSPEED wireless technology and backed up by its Zero-Additive PTFE feet and patented HERO sensor. LIGHTSPEED tech basically does what its name implies - it enhances responsiveness and mouse connectivity to immense levels, and with the aforementioned mouse feet and HERO sensor added in, it promises smooth and yet precise control even under heavy use.

Specs-wise, the mouse sports a USB report rate of 1000Hz and a 32-bit ARM Microprocessor, as well as an adjustable tracking resolution ranging from 100 to 25,600 DPI. Additionally, it has a max acceleration of more than 40G and a max speed surpassing 400 IPS when tested on Logitech's G420 Gaming Mouse Pad. In terms of size, it measures 125.0mm high, 63.mm wide and features a depth of 40.0mm, making it an easy fit for home setups as well as on-the-go use. In fact, it's got an impressive track record in the esports scene already - the mouse was used by G2 Esports to win the 2020 League of Legends European Championships!

As for pricing and availability, it's already up for grabs in both black and white colours - interested parties can pick them up for S$239 from all authorised Logitech retailers.
