LG's next flagship phone rumored to be announced in March
While Samsung is announcing its next flagship smartphone earlier this year, LG is said to be delaying the launch of its next flagship smartphone.
Industry sources told The Investor that the official launch event for LG's upcoming flagship smartphone is in March with retail availability in April, which is almost a month later compared to last year.
“We have agreed with LG to launch the G7 in April,” a ranking official of one of the nation’s top three telecom carriers -- SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus -- told ET News on condition of anonymity, adding the phone production will start in March.
One of the sources claimed that LG's next flagship phone would hit retail shelves on 20 April. LG might launch the phone under a new brand. It is rumored to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform, a bezel-less design and dual rear cameras.
