LG unveils its new soundbar lineup ahead of CES 2023
LG has given us a preview of their new soundbars that they’ll be launching at CES 2023, specifically their new SC9 and SE6 models.
What is good about the new lineup are new features like WOWCAST and WOW Orchestra.
WOWCAST allows the 2023 soundbar models to connect wirelessly with LG TVs, providing cable-free convenience and a tidier look in the living room without any sacrifice to audio quality.
WOW Orchestra uses the audio channels of the soundbar and TV “to create an expanded soundstage with improved height, depth and power” and allows users to enjoy multi-surround sound solution with Dolby Atmos and IMAX enhanced quality sound powered by DTS:X.
The 2023 soundbars also come with LG's Triple Sound Technology, Triple Level Spatial Sound Technology, Triple Sound Optimizer, AI Room Calibration, and AI Sound Pro features to deliver audio excellence to users.
Gamers are set to receive a performance boost too with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) to reduce screen tearing, and auto low latency mode (ALLM) to eliminate lag while also permitting 4K/120Hz pass-through.
To create a minimalist look and feel, the new SC9 model comes with a bracket that enables users to place their LG Soundbar directly below LG TVs.
The bracket, which attaches to the rear of LG's 2022 and 2023 OLED C series, can be used to wall-mount or stand-mount the soundbar at a height or location that ensures the best sound experience for users. The bracket also helps to keep the viewing environment free from cable clutter and saves users the hassle of having to drill holes in the wall.
The SE6 has a compact form factor that is ideal for smaller spaces. Despite being the smallest in LG's soundbar lineup, it packs four passive radiators to deliver excellent sound with powerful bass thanks to its support for Dolby Atmos.
Pricing and availability
We don’t have any release date or pricing for the new soundbars but more details should be forthcoming during CES 2023. We will update this article when we have more information.
