The LG UltraFine Ergo monitors seen at CES 2020 are now available in Singapore. These new models pair colour-accurate panels with space-saving and clutter-free features, making it ideal for creatives, gamers, and PMETs who like having a tidy workstation - be it at the office or home.

The LG UltraFine Ergo monitors come with Ergo, a C-type clamp and swivelling monitor arm combo. Ergo allows users to reposition the screen to their liking. You can move it higher or lower (up to 130mm), nearer or further (up to 180mm), swivel (up to 280° both ways)  and tilt (up to 25° both ways), and also rotate the panel between landscape and portrait mode.

Because these monitors use a C-type clamp as their base, they cling to the edge of any desk instead of sitting dead-centre on your table. So, these UltraFine Ergo monitors don’t take up considerable real estate. The monitor can even be fitted directly into an office desk’s cable hole using the included T-type clamp, and you can still run the monitor cables through the same hole. Also in the box is a 100 x 100mm VESA-compatible wall mount

LG Singapore has 32UN880 and 27UN880 versions - both are flat 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution) IPS monitors at 32 and 27 inches, respectively, with refresh rates of 60Hz and 5ms response time. They pack a maximum brightness of 350-nits. In addition, both support HDR10 and AMD FreeSync and offer built-in speakers (2 x 5W).

Since they’re also made to satisfy folks in creative fields, the 32-inch monitor offers 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, while the 27-inch version has 99% sRGB coverage.

Ports-wise, both have two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB-C Power Delivery port with 60W output for charging other devices, including laptops. The cables provided are HDMI and USB-C only, though.

“The unique LG Ergo concept elevates the value of our latest monitors, adding ergonomic comfort and maximum flexibility to superior IPS picture quality and multitasking features,” said Lee ChangHa, Product Director of LG Electronics (Singapore) Home Electronics.

LG UltraFine Ergo monitors are available from 1 July 2021 onwards at the following official retail prices:

  • 32UN880: S$1,099
  • 27UN880 S$899

They are available at authorised retailers, including Best Denki, Courts, Harvey Norman, and can be pre-ordered or purchased via LG’s official online storefronts at Lazada and Shopee.
