Samsung's recently announced Galaxy Tab S2 tablets will soon have a new rival as LG is rumored to be launching a new tablet in October.
According to tipster Leaksfly, LG is said to be unveiling the G Pad 2 in October with the following specs: 8.3-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, 3GB RAM, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a five-megapixel front-facing camera.
The G Pad 8.3 was announced in September 2013 and was the first 8.0-inch tablet to come with a Full-HD (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) display. Known locally as the G Tablet 8.3, it came with a retail price of S$438 which was a decent deal for its specs. For a recap of the G Tablet 8.3, you can read our review here.
