LG has announced that it will unveil its new gram notebooks at CES 2020 next month.

LG didn't release specific details about these new notebooks but what we know now is that the 2020 gram lineup will consist of four models.

The largest will be gram 17 and this will be followed by the gram 15. Rounding things up are the gram 14 and gram 14 2-in1. That's right, there will be a convertible version of the gram 14.

As expected, these notebooks are incredibly light. LG says the gram 17 is just 1.35kg while the gram 15 is just 1.12kg. The gram 14 and gram 14 2-in-1 are 999g and 1.15kg respectively.

We don't know exact specifications yet but what we do know is that the new gram notebooks will be powered by the latest 10th generation Ice Lake processors with Iris Plus graphics. These are "true" 10th generation parts built on a 10nm process.

As for memory, LG says that the gram notebooks can be outfitted with up to 24GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory. And as for storage, all notebooks will get SSDs.

Readers will also be happy to know that all gram notebooks will now have a USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port. Previously, only the gram 17 came with a Thunderbolt 3 port.

Battery will continue to be a highlight of these notebooks and the gram 17 and gram 15 will come with massive 80Wh batteries. The gram 14 and gram 14 2-in-1, on the other hand, will get slightly smaller 72Wh batteries.

No word yet on local availability and pricing but we will be sure to update this article on we know more.
