Like clockwork, LG is updating its Gram notebooks ahead of CES 2024. This time with Intel's newest "Core Ultra" Meteor Lake processors.

The 16 and 17-inch LG gram Pro and the 16-inch gram Pro 2-in-1 will all be powered by Intel's new Core Ultra processor, which will also feature an Intel NPU (neural processing unit) that will boost AI workloads.

The gram Pro features a 16-inch OLED display and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 discrete graphics.

These notebooks will also be getting fast PCIe 4.0 SSDs and NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3050 GPUs. To improve performance, the gram Pro models are getting a new dual cooling system.

As for the displays, both models will come with WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) LCD displays. The 16-inch gram Pro will also be available with a higher resolution WQXGA+ (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) OLED display.

The 16-inch LG gram Pro 2-in-1 has a 2.8K OLED display and weighs just 1.4kg.

All LG gram Pro models will feature USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports (find out why this is useful), USB Type-A ports, and HDMI ports.

The standard gram lineup will consist of four models: the gram 14, 15, 16, and 17. Like its predecessors, these notebooks are very light. The gram 14 is 1.1kg, while the largest gram 17 maxes out at just 1.4kg.

Like the gram Pro notebooks, these notebooks will be powered by Intel's new Core Ultra processors. The main difference is that these notebooks don't get discrete NVIDIA graphics. Instead, they'll have Intel Arc graphics that's offered by the Core Ultra processor.

The gram notebooks always had large batteries and this year is no different. The smaller gram 14 and 15 will come with 72Wh batteries, while the larger gram 16 and 17 have 77Wh batteries.

Like the Pro models, these notebooks will also have USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB Type-A ports, and HDMI ports.

All 2024 gram notebooks will also come with LG's new gram link app which will enable the notebooks to communicate with your Android and iOS devices. This app will help facilitate file sharing, photo transfers, and even enable screen mirroring.
