The LG G6 will have an audiophile-quality 32-bit quad-DAC

More details continue to emerge about LG's upcoming G6 smartphone, and today the company revealed that the device will feature a 32-bit quad-DAC system.

According to LG, the technology gives superior control over each earbud independently, resulting in a clearer, more balanced sound. The DAC is likely to be similar to the quad-DAC we saw in last year's LG V20, and is being made by the same high-performance audio chipset specialist, ESS.

The G6 will be unveiled at a press event on 26th February, and will feature an unusual 18:9 aspect ratio screen. Here's everything else we know about the G6 so far.
