Singapore's first curved smartphone, the LG G Flex will be available for pre-order this Sunday, 8th December at the three selected telcos.

Customers who pre-order the device will receive a LG Vest Cover (worth $48) and a LG Tone+ Bluetooth headset (worth $178). The G Flex will be officially launched at the three telcos and authorized mobile retailers on 21st December at a recommended retail price of $1,088.

LG unveiled the G Flex in late October and the device was only available at the major three telcos in Korea until now. It is to our understanding that Singapore is the first market outside Korea to launch the G Flex.

One of the key highlights of the G Flex is its self-healing technology on its back, which is a special protective film that is designed to remove scratches within minutes. LG and Marques Brownlee have released separate videos showcasing the self-healing technology in action.

The G Flex is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.26GHz processor, 2GB RAM and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It sports a 6-inch 720p curved POLED display, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a massive 3,500mAh battery. Like the G2, the G Flex also has the power and volume controls on its back. The device also supports 4G LTE and weighs 177g.
