LG is expanding its tablet portfolio with three new G Pad devices, the G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1.

According to Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, he believes "tablets are not one size fits all". In addition, the company has received feedback from consumers that they want a variety of devices with sizable screens. Previously, LG only had the G Pad 8.3 (also known as G Tablet 8.3 in Singapore) in its portfolio.

Availability, pricing and specs are not available at press time, but LG states that the G Pad series will come with the latest UX features such as QPair 2.0 and KnockCode. The latter feature was introduced on the G Pro 2, which enables you to unlock and power on the device with a unique "knock pattern" on the display.
