Readers eyeing Lenovo's Yoga Slim 7i Pro can now look forward to getting it with an OLED display.

To recap, the Yoga Slim 7i Pro is Lenovo's ultraportable notebook for power users. It differentiates itself from the "regular" Yoga Slim 7i with its support for memory, larger battery, and better display.

The OLED option is suitably high-end. According to Lenovo, it's produced by Samsung and it has a 16:10 aspect ratio, a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, and a refresh rate of 90Hz

Colour support is 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space and 125% of sRGB. Lenovo also says the OLED option offers over 667 times the contrast ratios of its standard LCD displays.

The OLED display is paired with Intel's newest Tiger Lake processors and Intel Iris Xe graphics. And more demanding users can opt for NVIDIA GeForce MX450 discrete graphics.

Wi-Fi 6 is supported and the Yoga Slim 7i Pro OLED will come with two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, a single USB-A USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Thickness and weight is unchanged at just under 17mm thick and 1.45kg heavy.

Availability and pricing

Interestingly, Lenovo says this new version of the Yoga Slim 7i Pro will only be available in Asia-Pacific and EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

No word yet on exact local availability and pricing but we will update this article once we know more.
