Lenovo unveils three new ThinkVision displays to give collaboration a lot of space

Lenovo has lifted the lid from three large-format displays, the ThinkVision T65, ThinkVision T75, and ThinkVision T86, ahead of CES 2022.

According to the company, they are designed to be used in collaborative workspaces such as offices and schools and have 4K displays, two built-in 15W speakers, an eight-microphone array, and a 4K AI-enhanced modular webcam as standard for all models.

The webcam is a removable camera with a 1/2.8-inch sensor capable of recording 4K video and comes with a 122-degree field-of-view and 4x digital zoom for video conferencing. The webcam is connected via a cableless USB connector, secured by an anti-theft screw, and includes a lens shutter, and privacy light.

The displays are powered by quad-core SOCs, 4GB of memory, 32GB of storage, and run Android 9 Pie. All three screens have a 4K resolution, a peak brightness of 400 nits, an anti-glare coating, and a 20-point IR touch with a 1mm touch precision.

There are also a number of connectivity options including USB Type-C, USB 3.0, HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet, Serial interface, and audio.

But it is the Smart Whiteboard capability that helps set the ThinkVision displays apart from a regular TV. But it adds on to it now with the ability to transmit video from built-in apps or just operate as a touchscreen monitor via either a cable connection or by using a Lenovo-branded "W20" dongle to connect to a PC wirelessly.
